It is the inevitable trend for enhancing the oil & gas station safety management to develop the integrity management surrounding the risk assessment with regard to storage tank and process pipeline. Based on the trunk line integrity management regulations, the regulations for storage tank and process pipeline integrity management are presented. Using API PUBL 353 quantitative risk assessment regulation as the basis,the basic risk calculation model for the storage tank and process pipeline integrity management is illustrated,including the determination of the scenario,frequency and consequence of storage tank and process pipeline leakage,also including the calculation of leakage risk by obtaining the production of leakage frequency and consequence. In the aspect of integrity assessment and risk relief,the inspection and assessment methods of storage tank and process pipeline are summarized,and the sequence and the relationship of risk assessment and defect inspection are revealed. The paper presents the category and factors of risk relief,which will be the reference for developing the national storage tank and process pipeline integrity management.
