In the Sulige Gasfield, channeling often occurs between wells, and individual-well liquid producing rate cannot bemetered accurately if fluid exists at wellhead. To solve these problems, orifice flowmeter and vortex flowmeter were combinedin series according to their measurement theories. Then, laboratory experiments of air-liquid two-phase flow were carried outunder different liquid/gas ratios. In addition, the air and water metering errors under the different liquid/gas ratios by orificeflowmeter, vortex flowmeter and combined measurement device were compared. It is shown that when the liquid/gas ratio isin the range of 0-100 m3/(104m3), the metering error of gas phase is less than 5%. When the liquid/gas ratio is in the range of3-86 m3/(104m3), the metering error of liquid phase is basically less than 10%. The combined measurement device of orificeflowmeter and vortex flowmeter is wide in the measurement range of liquid phase, and it can provide technical support for thegas-liquid two-phase metering of drainage gas recovery wells in the Sulige Gasfield.
